Our Real World Skill-Building Series is exclusive to transition-aged youth who are blind and visually impaired and their parents/caregivers.

Each session consists of a Youth Track and a Parent Track. Our intention is for the youth who participate to walk away feeling more comfortable advocating for their own needs and to provide an opportunity for the parents/caregivers to connect with each other while learning about the resources available to them.

**The next Real World Skill-Building session, A Heartfelt Valentine’s, is scheduled for Saturday, February 1st from 9:45AM-2:00PM at Future In Sight in Concord, NH. A pizza lunch will be provided.**

Older youth will have the opportunity to step into leadership roles, guiding and inspiring their peers throughout the day.

Separate programming for parents ensures a comprehensive and enriching experience for everyone involved. Learn how to navigate, advocate for and support your youth’s independence in an ever-changing world of accessible technology!

**There is a backup date the following Saturday, February 8th in case of snow.**

Assistive technology device demonstrations, loans and reuse activities are being supplemented by the ATinNH program. Funding for assistive technology device demonstrations, loans and reuse are provided, in part, under grant 2001NHATSG02 from the Administration for Community Living (ACL) through Assistive Technology in New Hampshire (ATinNH). Learn more about ATinNH here.
