November 20, 2014 – The Association’s Client Services Committee presented the 2014 Jo Adcock Service Award to Irene Reale.

The Jo Adcock Service Award is presented each year to a volunteer who has proven leadership skills, provides outstanding service and commitment to the field of blindness and who has been volunteering for at least five years in the state of New Hampshire.

For the past 12 years, Irene has been making client satisfaction calls to the Association’s clients after their services have been completed. Each week, Irene comes to the Association and quietly gets the materials she needs and begins reaching out to our clients. She is dependable, reliable and dedicated, is independent in organizing her work and completes her volunteer duties with professionalism, proficiency and compassion. Over the past 12 years, Irene has contributed over 1,200 volunteer hours. We are lucky that she continues to share her skills and her time with us!

The New Hampshire Association for the Blind is committed to being the primary organization where individuals, caregivers, family and the medical community can learn more about the wide range of services, information and resources that are available throughout the state.
