DESCRIPTION:Calling all veterans: Future In Sight is offering training sessions on Ray-Ban Meta AI Smart Glasses. Each veteran who participates will receive a FREE pair of glasses! \nMany veterans find these glasses especially helpful for daily activities such as shopping\, managing medications\, navigating unfamiliar environments\, staying connected with family and friends\, and accessing information independently. This training in Portsmouth\, NH will include professional device setup and personalization\, hands-on learning tailored to veterans with vision loss\, Meta’s full manufacturer warranty\, and ongoing support from vision rehabilitation professionals. \nTo register\, call 603-224-4039 or email services@futureinsight.org. **You must be a veteran who is blind or visually impaired to be eligible.** \nVeterans do not need to be enrolled in VA healthcare to participate. SUMMARY:Everything Android! For Low Vision [CONCORD\, NH] *ADULTS 55+ ONLY*
DESCRIPTION:The focus of this workshop will be on the setup of the device (i.e.: font size\, contrast and background lighting)\, use of built-in accessibility features such as magnification\, select to speak and the use of low vision apps\, and using Talkback/Voice Assistant and gestures to navigate the Android interface for those with limited vision. \nThe workshop will be held in Concord\, NH. \nParticipants must live in NH\, be 55 or older\, be able to provide a recent eye report\, and have a corrected acuity no greater than 20/50. \nTo apply for a spot in an upcoming Tech Workshop\, contact 603-224-4039 or services@futureinsight.org.* \n*Space in these workshops is VERY limited.
