SUMMARY:App Power: Ally/SeeingAI/Lookout/BeMyEyes [VIRTUAL] *ADULTS 55+ ONLY*
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, you will learn how using beneficial apps provides access to print such as reading the mail\, identifying prescription bottles\, spices and cooking instructions and reading menus! They also offer details in the world around us; finding bus stops\, identifying stains on clothing\, locating dropped medication\, and beyond!  This workshop will describe the layout and functionality of such apps\, as well as real world situations trying out the apps. \nThe workshop will be held virtually. \nParticipants must live in NH\, be 55 or older\, be able to provide a recent eye report\, and have a corrected acuity no greater than 20/50. \nTo apply for a spot in an upcoming Tech Workshop\, contact 603-224-4039 or services@futureinsight.org.* \n*Space in these workshops is VERY limited. Someone from Future In Sight will be in contact to complete the paperwork necessary to ensure that you qualify. DESCRIPTION:Future In Sight relies on the funds raised during the Walk For Sight to further its mission of advancing the independence of adults\, children and elderly who are blind and visually impaired. \nThe Walk For Sight consists of a 1-mile loop through Downtown Concord\, NH\, starting and ending at the State House.
