Tech Training (for 55+): Using Wearables for Increased Independence

The focus of this training will be on the wearables and accessibility. Several wearables will be reviewed including smart watches (Apple and Android) which allow access to all tasks that can be performed with a smartphone, the use of AIRA and OrCam for safe navigation, identifying objects providing assistance with reading materials and the use of wireless earbuds to allow for safely obtaining information.
This training workshop will be on Zoom and is geared for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, beginner level with technology, and over the age of 55.
This workshop is organized in partnership with Sight Services for Independent Living (SSIL) with the state of New Hampshire. There will be a limited participants per workshop.
