Raising funds to provide needed services for the blind
Millions of aging Americans will lose their vision from cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD), having to learn what it means to live without eyesight. 2020 Vision Quest supports the Future in Sight (formerly NH Association for the Blind), an organization that helps people learn the skills of living without vision.
Funding the cost of training guide dogs
A guide dog can make the difference between an active life and isolation. Your contribution to 2020 Vision Quest helps Guide Dogs for the Blind provide dogs at no cost to those who are blind or visually impaired. In addition, they provide a lifetime of support to help care for your guide dog.
Educating young people about “ability awareness”
Randy strives to teach students of all ages “Ability Awareness” – the idea that their response to overcome daunting challenges and not the challenges themselves is what defines them and others.

The Medical Eye Center is a multi-specialty Ophthalmology practice that has served patients with sight threatening diseases for over 30 years. Our partnership with the Future In Sight allows our physicians to provide high level resources ranging from visual aide medical devices to mobility and orientation training. A longstanding partner of Future In Sight, The New Hampshire Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons is the Granite State’s professional association connected to the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Lauren Branchini, MD was elected as the President of the New Hampshire Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons (NHSEPS) in the spring of 2019. During her two-year term as NHSEPS president, she intends to focus improving engagement among ophthalmologists to address public policy issues to advance patient safety and outcomes in the Granite State.
