The Advocacy Committee of the NH Association for the Blind has been working to educate the public about the new law regarding the falsification of service animals.
The State of NH passed a law effective January 1, 2015 stating that anyone who falsely misrepresents their animal as a service animal will face misdemeanor charges subject to fines. The attached flyer created by the Advocacy Committee will serve to educate individuals on how to identify a legitimate service animal. Please feel free to share the flyer.
