Our Real World Skill-Building Series is exclusive to transition-aged youth and their parents/caregivers.

Our intention is for the youth who participate to walk away feeling more comfortable advocating for their own needs and to provide an opportunity for the parents/caregivers to connect with each other while learning about the resources available to them. Each workshop in our Real World Skill-Building Series consists of a Youth Track and a Parent Track.

**The next Real World Skill-Building Workshop will be Saturday, February 1st, from 9:45AM-2:00PM at Future In Sight in Concord, NH. There is a backup date the following Saturday, February 8th, in case of snow. A pizza lunch will be provided.**

This engaging event invites young individuals who are blind or visually impaired to participate in “A Heart Felt Valentine’s” experience. Older students will have the opportunity to step into leadership roles, guiding and inspiring their peers throughout the day. Separate programming for parents ensures a comprehensive and enriching experience for everyone involved. Learn how to navigate, advocate for, and support your youth’s independence in an ever-changing world of accessible technology!

Assistive technology device demonstrations, loans and reuse activities are being supplemented by the ATinNH program.
