 The Board has appointed the immediate past Chair of the Board, Timothy F. Murray to the role of Interim CEO.

Tim is uniquely qualified to act as interim CEO for Future In Sight.  His significant leadership and nonprofit experience will provide a key bridge to finding a new CEO to lead Future in Sight.  Tim’s past leadership experience includes serving as CEO at USI New England and Board Chair at Easter Seals NH.  He has also served as a Board member for various nonprofits including Leadership NH, YMCA Greater Manchester, and CASA.

Nathalie joined Future In Sight as Vice President of Finance and Administration in May of 2014. Prior to this, she was the Director of Finance for the University Of New Hampshire School Of Law in Concord for five years.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and is a current member of the New Hampshire Society of Accountants.

Director of Youth Services

Sherry joined Future in Sight in September of 2020 as Director of Youth Services. Sherry brings over 20 years of experience in special education, most recently as Director of Student Services for SAU 24 (Henniker, Weare, John Stark, and Stoddard school districts).

Immediately prior to her work with SAU 24, Sherry consulted with the NH Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education where she was responsible for collecting and analyzing data as part of managing IDEA entitlement grants. While there, she also developed and implemented interagency initiatives designed to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. This was an opportunity for her to use her on-the-ground experience as a special education teacher and coordinator at the middle school and high school levels in Concord, as well as director roles at Parker Education to inform the development of local and statewide Community of Practice for secondary transition. Sherry served as the Bureau expert to Next Steps NH State Professional Grant and Racial Disproportionality in Special Education. Sherry is a graduate of UNH, Durham where she secured both a BA History (minor in education) and an MA in Education (secondary social studies education). She earned her Special Education certification from Granite State College in Concord.

Sarah Melasecca

Director of Adult Services

Sarah joined Future In Sight in December 2020 following nearly 14 years at Granite State Independent Living, most recently as the Director of Independent Living Services. At GSIL, Sarah led a team of managers and direct service professionals providing statewide services to people with a variety of disabilities, all focused on enhancing independence in the home and community. Prior to GSIL, Sarah was a HUD-approved Housing Counselor, providing Homebuyer Education and Financial Fitness workshops and coaching sessions. Before her career with nonprofits, Sarah spent more than ten years in the banking industry, including as the Branch Manager of a community bank.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Franklin Pierce University. Sarah is committed to programs and services which enhance and increase the independence of individuals affected by vision loss and blindness.

Christopher Purington

Director of Development

Christopher Purington has been leading community nonprofit efforts throughout New Hampshire for more than 13 years in the fields of education, health and human services and workforce development.  His experience includes nearly 10 years of service at Granite State Independent Living (GSIL), most recently in the role of Senior Vice President of Programs.  At GSIL, Christopher oversaw the growth of diverse statewide cross-disability services that support a better quality of life and increase access to opportunity for youth, adults and seniors.  His efforts helped develop significant funding resources and build new programs to address unmet community need.  This included the creation of a new statewide program for at-risk high school students to reengage with their education through work-based learning and create futures and opportunities that did not previously exist for them.

Christopher is a strong advocate and catalyst for advancement in the areas of education, social and economic equity.  He utilizes his background in creating economic opportunity to develop and grow services that provide support for at-risk youth, individuals with disabilities, and families in need throughout New Hampshire.  He is the current Chair of the Governor appointed NH State Rehabilitation Council and is a former Advisory Board Member for the NH Small Business Development Center.  He also won the US Small Business Administration NH Business Champion Award for his work creating innovative economic and career pathways for people that experience poverty and disability.
