- Future In Sight

I have been a volunteer in the community for the past 50 years. Volunteering at the Association for the Blind is a relatively new project for me. I have driven clients to meetings and to appointments, have stuffed envelopes for mailings, and I volunteered for the annual walk. I have always enjoyed helping people and find working with and helping the sight impaired very rewarding. Each and every client is so appreciative of the help and know that they wouldn’t be able to attend the meeting if they didn’t have a driver. I would recommend getting involved with the association because the staff is very caring and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
