Appreciation for our Volunteers

- Jean Jaworski

Volunteers are a special group. They realize that by giving, though not done for this reason, positive rewards come that can’t be measured.  I saw the great need to help those who are blind and visually impaired as they are often a hidden group. Small steps to give their lives some normalcy is huge for them; that is what volunteers at Future In Sight do on a daily basis.

My involvement is more in the background but I still know what I contribute helps all the way up the support ladder. Volunteering at Future In Sight gives me a larger ring of friends, is educational and makes me more aware of the challenges others are facing. At the end of the day I know positive changes are happening and often I am part of that change. Keep it up, volunteers, you make a difference!
