Dr. Dorothy Hitchmoth organized and lead a presentation for Future In Sight staff and teams on Friday, August 27th. This was a professional development training on vision loss and the importance of preventative care, including eye, brain, vision clinical pathology. Dr. Hitchmoth has been a practicing Doctor of Optometry in the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region of NH for over 25 years. She is a nationally recognized award-winning doctor, professor, lecturer, and educator, and she currently serves on the Board of Directors for Future In Sight.
We want to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Hitchmoth for her support and dedication, as well as generously sharing her time and expertise to help others who serve those who are losing their sight, are blind or visually impaired. The motto of Dorothy’s practice is “Prevention of Vision Loss is our Mission”.
