The Reader’s Digest Partners for Sight Foundation recently awarded a $25,000 grant to the New Hampshire Association for the Blind. These funds will be used to offset program expenses for direct rehabilitation and group services to people in need throughout the state of New Hampshire. George Theriault, Association‘s President & CEO stated; “Learning how to do things independently without sight can be overwhelming. When individuals who are blind or visually impaired receive specialized vision rehabilitation services they experience a marked improvement in self-esteem and self-reliance.”
