Using Wearables for Increased Independence *ADULTS 55+ ONLY*

Several wearables will be reviewed including smart watches (Apple and Android) which allow access to all tasks that can be performed with a smart phone, the use of AIRA and OrCam for safe navigation, identifying objects providing assistance with reading materials and the use of wireless ear buds to allow for safely obtaining information.

Thanks to a partnership Future In Sight has with the Older Individuals who are Blind and Visually Impaired Program (OIBVIP), we are pleased to offer this small group workshop. Interested people must live in NH, be 55 or older, able to provide a recent eye report, and have a corrected acuity no greater than 20/50. By signing up this does not guarantee everyone a spot as these workshops are limited to 5 participants. Someone will be in contact to complete further necessary paperwork, and upon such approval 5 people will be secured a spot for the workshop.
