Concord, NH – Future In Sight, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides services to children, adults and elderly in New Hampshire who are blind and visually impaired, relies on the support raised as part of its Walk For Sight fundraising event to continue providing critical services to the blind and visually impaired (BVI) community of NH regardless of one’s financial circumstances or whether they have insurance coverage. Last year’s event raised over $100,000! This year’s event has now crossed the $50,000 threshold with the May 16th event being less than a month away. Future In Sight is hopeful that the residents of NH will rally around the 2026 Walk For Sight and help raise $100,000 again this year.
The Walk itself is a 1-mile loop through downtown Concord, symbolically starting and ending in front of where the key decisions in New Hampshire are made: the NH State House. There will also be fun photo opportunities and a puppy kissing booth with puppies who will one day be guide dogs.
The public can support the Walk For Sight by registering to walk and fundraise or by making a donation directly to the event. Tickets for the 50/50 raffle can also purchased online and participants do not have to attend the event to win. Individuals can visit futureinsight.org/walkforsight for event details, to register or donate, and to purchase 50/50 tickets. The drawing for the 50/50 raffle will take place on Tuesday, May 19th on Facebook Live.
