Concord, NH – Future In Sight, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides services to children, adults and elderly in New Hampshire who are blind and visually impaired, relies on the funds raised as part of its Walk For Sight event to continue providing services regardless of one’s ability to pay. Last year’s event raised over $100,000! This year’s event has now crossed the $50,000 threshold with a little over two weeks of fundraising left.

The Walk itself is a 1-mile loop through downtown Concord, impactfully starting and ending in front of where the key decisions in New Hampshire are made: the State House. The opening ceremony will feature speeches from some inspiring individuals, including Grand Marshal Denise Davis, a client of Future In Sight and fierce advocate for her peers. The national anthem will be sung by social media influencer and fellow client of Future In Sight, Christopher Duffley. Christopher received notoriety after a video of him singing went viral on social media. There will also be fun photo opportunities and a puppy kissing booth with puppies who will one day be guide dogs.

The public can support the Walk For Sight by registering to walk and fundraise or by making a donation directly to the event. Tickets for the 50/50 Raffle and Cash Cube can also be purchased online. Participants do not have to attend the event to have a chance at either of these raffle opportunities. Visit futureinsight.org/walkforsight for event details, to register or donate, and to purchase raffle tickets.
