Empowerment in Action: The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) [VIRTUAL] *ADULTS ONLY*

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) protects the rights of people with disabilities, including those who are blind or visually impaired. This workshop explores the ADA, updates and related laws to help participants understand their rights and know how to advocate for themselves. We’ll also cover where the ADA doesn’t apply, like certain jobs, private clubs or religious organizations. Understanding these laws gives participants the knowledge and confidence to take action and secure the access and accommodations they need.
