This workshop will focus on accessibility features for audiobooks, magazines and newspapers.

Services for the Blind and Vision Impaired is a division of the state’s Department of Education/Vocational Rehabilitation. Through it’s Older Individuals who are Blind or vision impaired program (OIB), all low vision in-home training and aids/devices are provided at no cost to its participants. For further information about OIB services please call 1-800-581-6881. Future In Sight is contracted by OIB to cooperatively develop and present the Retreat and Workshop programs. Please contact Future In Sight for more information and to sign up for these programs.

Interested people must live in NH, be 55 or older, able to provide a recent eye report, and have a corrected acuity no greater than 20/50. By signing up this does not guarantee everyone a spot as these workshops are limited to 5 participants. Someone will be in contact to complete further necessary paperwork, and upon such approval 5 people will be secured a spot for the workshop.
