Impressions on the Banke: Strawbery Banke Museum Tour and Painting Activity [PORTSMOUTH, NH] *ADULTS ONLY*

Guests will begin with a narrated, guided overview tour, discovering fascinating stories and details about the historic grounds at Strawbery Banke Museum, located at 14 Hancock Street – Portsmouth, NH, that will inspire their artistic interpretations.

After a casual 30-minute lunch, participants will embark on a unique hands-on painting activity led by professional artist Valerie Romano, experienced in guiding visually impaired painters. Using tactually outlined shapes of historic buildings as their guides, each artist will create a vibrant, deeply personal acrylic painting inspired by a different structure throughout the museum. Together, these individual works will form a beautiful and powerful exhibit—a collection of historic impressions created through touch, imagination, memory, and each artist’s own mind’s eye.
