Kaila’s Crafts: Basketry *ADULTS & YOUTH*

Join Kaila in part 2 of this 2 part workshop where she’ll teach you the basics of basket making using a wooden bottom and reeds. You will learn how to prepare the materials, and weave the sides of your basket. You will also learn how to finish your basket so that it is both beautiful and functional. The basket measures approximately 4 inches by 5 inches. Kits include all supplies needed to construct the basket. Participants will need to provide a basin of water to soak reeds in as well as towels to help keep the work area dry.
