Kaila’s Crafts: Spring into Spirals – The Art of Quilling *ADULTS & YOUTH*

Join us for “Spring into Spirals,” a creative workshop dedicated to the intricate and meditative art of quilling. As nature begins to unfurl this March, we will explore the fascinating history of this “paper filigree” and learn to shape paper strips into beautiful designs. Together we will practice basic rolling techniques and create three seasonal projects: a Lucky Shamrock, a Spring Butterfly, and a 3D Golden Daffodil.

Supply List:
Quilling paper strips (standard 1/8 inch or 3mm width is best for beginners)
Quilling tool (slotted tool or needle tool)
Liquid glue in a fine-tip bottle (or a toothpick for applying glue)
Cardstock (white or colored, for your background)
Tweezers
Scissors
