At the annual Barkwood Dog Show, disgruntled former handler Jordan Vance steals a $10,000 prize-winning French Bulldog named Barnaby to hold him for ransom. When the owner’s brother tracks Jordan down to an abandoned park pavilion to retrieve the dog, a violent confrontation erupts, leaving the brother dead from a blow with a heavy trophy.
